2018 Race Information
We are excited to be returning to Westwood Golf Course for 2018. Learn all about this beautiful location by visiting Westwood Golf Course. More information to follow regarding their Friday night, Triathlon inspired menu.
You can register either as an individual, or as a team. Teams can include either two or three people. A team must complete each leg of the race, therefore a team of two would require someone to do two of the legs.
Early registration is available before June 20, 2018.
Registration includes: a race shirt, a catered lunch, give-away items from local businesses and sponsors, and the opportunity to compete for top awards.
Click here to learn more about how to register.
Timing is provided this year by Tortoise and Hare Race Management.
We send competitors out in waves of about 25 racers. On your registration form, you can request a wave. Fastest participants will be in the earliest waves. Teams are in the last wave.
Awards are given to the Top Male and Female Overall, as well as the Top Local Racer (from Price County), Male and Female. Awards are also given to the Top 3 Relay Teams, and the Top 3 per Age Group for both Male and Female. Age groups are every 5 years. All awards are hand-crafted by local artists.
PACKET PICK-UP: Friday, July 13, 5-6:30 PM, or Saturday, July 14, 7:30-8:30 AM
RACE MEETING: All participants should meet in the transition area; 8:30 AM
(After the meeting, participants can catch a boat ride to the start line).
RACE BEGINS: 9:00 AM

If you are coming from out of town, we welcome you with open arms to our community! If you need a place to stay or are looking for a great eatery, we suggest checking in with the Phillips Area Chamber of Commerce. The City of Phillips has also opened a NEW camping facility located on the race route. More information can be found here.
Parking on the day of the event is free, and easy to find. Just follow the parking attendants! You'll be parking at and around Westwood Golf Course, where the registration area and transitions take place.
We are not a USAT sanctioned event, however, safety is our first concern.
Helmets are required during the bike portion. Drafting is not allowed. Most roads are open, and so require your full attention.
